FAQ

Can Rogue Blight run on SteamOS or Linux?
The official Steam page lists SteamOS + Linux minimum and recommended requirements.
Is there a verified universal controller or Steam Deck fix?
No. Public community reports need version, device, Steam Input, and display details before they can support a reliable fix.

Evidence status: Official system requirements plus clearly labeled community-report context. Last checked: September 8, 2026.

What are the listed minimum requirements?

PlatformOfficial minimum
WindowsWindows 10, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz or equivalent, 4 GB RAM, NVIDIA 9600GT or ATI Radeon HD 5000+ or better, DirectX 10, 7 GB storage
macOSmacOS 10.12+ (64-bit), Apple M1 or Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 7 GB storage
SteamOS + LinuxUbuntu 14.04, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz or equivalent, 4 GB RAM, NVIDIA 9600GT or ATI Radeon HD 5000+ or better, 7 GB storage

The official recommended Windows and Linux listings use an Intel Core i5, 6 GB RAM, and GeForce GTX 970. These are store requirements, not a promise of a particular resolution or frame rate.

What should you record for a compatibility report?

For controller, Steam Deck, ultrawide, or blurry-display reports, record the game build, operating system, device model, resolution, display mode, and Steam Input state. That turns a vague report into something the developer or other players can compare.

Read known issues and fixes for the difference between official fixes and community reports. Patch 1.00.08 includes current brightness, localization, and performance changes.

What has already changed in public patches?

Patch 1.00.07 addressed Blacksmith and Shop UI scaling on ultrawide displays. Patch 1.00.08 expanded the maximum brightness range and corrected several localization and layout issues. Re-test on the current build before treating an old screenshot as current behavior.

What is not verified yet?

  • A universal Steam Deck setup or controller remapping fix.
  • Native PlayStation controller support timing.
  • Performance results on specific handhelds, GPUs, or ultrawide monitors.
